FAQ:
1. What is happening to Mines Handbook?
We will be retiring the Mines Handbook platform in early 2023 and introducing our new platform, TNM Marco Polo.
2. Why are you making this change?
As user needs have evolved, we recognized a need for a more advanced data platform. Building on Mines Handbook 80-year history, TNM Marco Polo will enhance many of the existing features of Mines Handbook and introduce new ones to make the trusted data even more powerful to users. TNM Marco Polo leverages the global data of Mining Intelligence, which is curated by a team of analysts, providing a more expansive dataset than before.
3. What are the key differences between Mines Handbook and TNM Marco Polo?
In addition to a completely new, easy to use interface, TNM Marco Polo will provide detailed global information on more than 2,500 mining companies, 12,900 properties and 16,000 executive and management personnel.
4. What will happen to my existing access to Mines Handbook?
Customers with a TNM Executive subscription should have already received access to TNM Marco Polo’s beta version. Please contact our customer support team if you have any questions on how to log into TNM Marco Polo. Once the TNM Marco Polo platform is formally launched, your Mines Handbook access will disabled.
5. What will happen to my saved searches in the “My Portfolio” feature of Mines Handbook?
Unfortunately, as TNM Marco Polo is based on a new platform your existing saved searches will not be migrated from Mines Handbook.
6. I have more questions about the transition from Mines Handbook to Marco Polo, who can I contact?
Please contact our customer support team at support@northernminer.com.
